मध्यपश्चिम विश्वविद्यालयका नवनियुक्त उपकुलपति सह-प्रा. डा. ई. राजन सुवालज्यूको स्वागत तथा पदभार ग्रहण कार्यक्रम मिति २०८३ साल असार २३ गते विश्वविद्यालयको केन्द्रीय कार्यालयस्थित बैठक हलमा सम्पन्न भएको छ।
पदभार ग्रहणलगत्तै आफ्नो मन्तव्य व्यक्तका क्रममा उपकुलपति सह-प्रा. डा. ई. राजन सुवालज्यूले कर्णाली क्षेत्रमा अझ विशेषगरी मध्यपश्चिम विश्वविद्यालयमा यसअघि पदाधिकारीको जिम्मेवारीमा रहेर काम गरेको अनुभव व्यक्त गर्दै विश्वविद्यालयलाई गुणस्तरीय, अनुसन्धानमुखी तथा उत्कृष्ट शैक्षिक संस्थाका रूपमा विकास गर्न आफू सदैव सकारात्मक, सहकार्यात्मक र परिणाममुखी ढङ्गले अघि बढ्ने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गर्नुभयो। साथै उहाँले विश्वविद्यालयको समग्र विकासका लागि सबै पदाधिकारी, प्राध्यापक, कर्मचारी तथा सरोकारवालाहरूले आ-आफ्नो जिम्मेवारी इमानदारी, कर्तव्यनिष्ठा र समर्पणका साथ निर्वाह गर्नुपर्नेमा जोड दिनुभयो।
सोही अवसरमा विश्वविद्यालयका निवर्तमान उपकुलपति प्रा. डा. नारायण प्रसाद पौडेलज्यूको सम्मान तथा बिदाइ कार्यक्रमसमेत सम्पन्न भएको थियो। आफ्नो मन्तव्यका क्रममा निवर्तमान उपकुलपति प्रा. डा. पौडेलज्यूले विशेष परिस्थितिमा विश्वविद्यालयको नेतृत्व सम्हाल्ने अवसर प्राप्त भएको स्मरण गर्दै विश्वविद्यालयको संस्थागत विकास, शैक्षिक गुणस्तर अभिवृद्धि तथा समग्र हितका लागि आफू सदैव प्रतिबद्ध र तत्पर रहेको उल्लेख गर्नुभएको थियो। साथै आगामी दिनमा पनि विश्वविद्यालयको उन्नति र प्रगतिका लागि आफ्नो साथ, सहयोग र शुभेच्छा निरन्तर रहने उल्लेख गर्नु भएको थियो ।
कार्यक्रममा विश्वविद्यालयका रजिस्ट्रार सह-प्रा. डा. अर्जुन बहादुर अयडीज्यूले स्वागत मन्तव्य व्यक्त गर्दै नवनियुक्त उपकुलपतिज्यूलाई सफल कार्यकालको शुभकामना व्यक्त गर्नु भएको थियो । स्वागत तथा पदभार ग्रहण कार्यक्रममा विश्वविद्यालयका पदाधिकारी, डिन, कार्यकारी निर्देशक, परीक्षा व्यवस्थापन कार्यालयका प्रमुख, विभागीय प्रमुख तथा संयोजक, प्राध्यापक, कर्मचारी, विद्यार्थी लगायतको उल्लेखनीय सहभागिता रहेको थियो।
“Newly Appointed Vice-Chancellor Assumes Office at Mid-West University”
The welcome and office assumption ceremony of the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Mid-West University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Er. Rajan Suwal, was held on July 7, 2026 at the Meeting Hall of the University's Central Office.
Addressing the gathering immediately after assuming office, Vice-Chancellor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Er. Rajan Suwal reflected on his long professional experience in the Karnali region, particularly his previous tenure at Mid-West University. He reaffirmed his commitment to leading the University in a positive, collaborative, and result-oriented manner with the goal of developing it into a quality, research-oriented, and outstanding institution of higher education. He also emphasized that the overall development of the University depends on the sincerity, dedication, and sense of responsibility demonstrated by all office bearers, faculty members, staff, and stakeholders in fulfilling their respective roles.
On the same occasion, a felicitation and farewell ceremony was held in honor of the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Narayan Prasad Paudel. In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Paudel recalled the opportunity to lead the University during a special period and stated that he had always remained committed to the institutional development, academic excellence, and overall welfare of the University. He further expressed his continued goodwill and support for the University's progress and advancement in the years ahead.
During the program, the Registrar of Mid-West University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arjun Bahadur Ayadi, delivered the welcome address and extended his best wishes to the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor for a successful tenure.
The welcome and office assumption ceremony was participated by University officials, Deans, Executive Directors, the Head of the Examination Management Office, Heads and Coordinators of academic departments, faculty members, staff, students, and other distinguished participants.
